SHARON STONE: “SHEDDING” PREMIERE

We went to meet Sharon Stone for the world premiere of her first solo exhibition.

Today we talk about a very special and exclusive event that took place yesterday in West Hollywood on Melrose Avenue.

It was the opening, reserved for a few invited guests, of Sharon Stone's first solo exhibition as a painter: Shedding. The event was held at the Allouche Gallery, and we were welcomed in an elegant hall where cocktails and welcome drinks were served. Seventeen paintings were presented.

I arrived early to have a calm conversation with Sharon and the guests. To my pleasant surprise, I immediately found myself greeting Jamie Lee Curtis, who was there to support her friend Sharon. Jamie had just won the Oscar two days ago and told me how the evening would be dedicated entirely to her friend Sharon. She didn't want to do any interviews or photos tonight; the night was solely about celebrating Sharon's painting.

Gradually, the guests arrived, and I took the opportunity to look at Sharon's paintings. They were of various types, very intense, large, and imposing. They were truly beautiful, which is what you would expect from someone who has experienced many profound events in their life. Sharon looked elegant, wearing a black suit adorned with a fantastic pink, like a flower framing another flower, her perfect face.

She arrived with her son, Roan Stone, also very elegant, polite, and courteous, just like his mother. Sharon told me she was very nervous and excited. I replied that she had no reason to be; both she and her paintings shone with a light that needed no words.

As Sharon continued to speak with other guests, I listened and delved a bit deeper into her works. "Even if you can complete a painting, a poem, or a story in a day," Stone says, "it requires layers and layers of thought and layers and layers of review to find the true depth of the thing you’re working on."

The evening was wonderful. I also greeted another friend of Sharon Stone, who is a model I admire greatly and who has done a lot for women. She is Alek Wek. Above is a photo of us together.

Thanks to Sharon Stone and Allouche Gallery, this event was beautiful and opened a new world that a star of Sharon's caliber offers us.
