LOS ANGELES, CA — December 10, 2024, was no ordinary winter evening in Los Angeles. Nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills, Kathy Hilton’s private residence transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland, hosting the much-anticipated “DIRECTV’s Christmas at Kathy’s.” The event blended high-wattage glamour with heartwarming goodwill, all in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Southern California.
Guests were welcomed into a festive paradise. The sprawling backyard was adorned with a sparkling Christmas tree farm and floating oversized snowflakes that danced on the pool’s surface. Custom wood paneling and hand-painted postcards of Kathy Hilton with her beloved dogs added a personal, charming touch to the sophisticated decor. Every corner radiated holiday cheer, meticulously crafted by Best Events, the production and design partner behind the evening’s magic.
Food and drink took center stage, featuring mini versions of Kathy’s favorite holiday dishes. Guests enjoyed elevated bites like Pigs in a Blanket and Mini Waffles with Sour Cream and Caviar. The iconic Moët vending machine returned, accompanied by signature holiday cocktails such as Kathy’s POMtini and Peppermint Martini, ensuring the celebration was as flavorful as it was festive.
Charity remained at the heart of the celebration. In partnership with RMHC, attendees brought unwrapped toys to spread joy to children and families staying at Ronald McDonald House this holiday season.
